We regret to announce that the 2nd Lagos International Film and Cinema Convention, initially scheduled for August 1-3, 2024, has been postponed. The new dates for the convention are now August 14-15, 2024.
This decision was made in response to the announced peaceful mass protest against the high cost of living and other matters affecting the citizenry. The protest, planned for August 1, coincides with the convention’s start date. After receiving feedback and intelligent advice from delegates and other important stakeholders, it became evident that the protest would significantly impact attendance due to anticipated low movement and traffic as people observe developments before venturing out for business. Such a situation could dampen the mood and adversely affect the convention’s success.
To ensure the massive attendance of our already registered and confirmed delegates, exhibitors, and invited VIPs, the organizing committee, after extensive deliberations and consultations, decided to move the convention to August 14-15, 2024.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We assure you that the 2nd Lagos International Film and Cinema Convention will surpass expectations and be a memorable and rewarding experience for all attendees.
