LIFACC 2023 GATHERS MOMENTUM
The maiden edition of the Lagos International Film and Cinema Convention, LIFACC, slated to hold from July 20th to 22nd, 2023, in Lagos, has started gathering momentum.
The three-day event tagged “Advancing the business of film in Africa”, which will have in attendance film distributors, Cinema owners, film producers, manufacturers of cinema equipment and solution providers from across Nigeria and beyond’ comes up at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos. It’s expected to be an experience of a “business time”.
Already, many corporate bodies are partnering with the LIFACC team to make the convention a success story.
In a statement made available to newsmen, the founder of the Lagos international film and Cinema Convention Mr Theophilus Akatugba, the Chief Executive officer of Ovueta and current president of the Association of Nollywood Core Producers said that besides the exhibition of sophisticated cinema equipment and facilities by manufacturers/ suppliers from across the world, the convention would also host “Two Happy Hours” (party time) sessions at the close of business on day one and two of the convention.
There will also be a post-event reception and party on a boat while delegates will tour the beautiful coastlines of Lagos en route to Badagry (visit one or two tourist locations).
Mr. Akatugba, The founder of LIFACC said this will allow for a fun-filled casual networking time for all delegates as the event ends.
